Turkish Chicken with Creamy White Sauce

A delightful dish combining tender chicken with a rich and creamy sauce, flavored with paprika and cumin.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour the heavy cream into the pan, stirring to combine, and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a variation, add spinach or bell peppers during sautéing for extra nutrition.
