Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 3. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  • 4. Mix in strawberry puree or cake mix powder and food coloring if using.
  • 5. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 6. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until dough forms.
  • 7. Fold in white chocolate chips or sprinkles if desired.
  • 8. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing evenly.
  • 9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
  • 10. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill dough for 15 minutes if too soft.
