Instructions

  • 1. Chill mixing bowl and beaters in freezer 10 minutes. Pour cold heavy cream into chilled bowl.
  • 2. Add hot chocolate mix and powdered sugar. Beat on medium 1 minute until frothy, then high 2-3 minutes until stiff peaks form (holds shape when beaters lifted).
  • 3. Heat milk in saucepan over medium until steaming (don’t boil) or microwave 2 minutes.
  • 4. Pour hot milk into mugs filling ¾ full. Dollop or pipe whipped hot chocolate generously on top.
  • 5. Garnish immediately with marshmallows, chocolate shavings, or peppermint. Serve with spoon.
