Almond Croissants

Delightful almond croissants made from day-old pastries infused with a rich almond cream filling, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 2 day-old croissants or store-bought croissants
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Almond cream filling (prepared from the above ingredients)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half, lengthwise.
  3. Prepare the almond cream filling by combining almond flour, softened butter, sugar, and egg in a bowl.
  4. Fill each croissant with the almond cream filling, spreading some on top.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm. Can be garnished with powdered sugar or paired with coffee.
