Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole

A comforting and satisfying baked pasta dish that features a rich cream cheese mixture and layers of gooey mozzarella.

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the cream cheese mixture by combining the cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the mozzarella cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the marinara sauce and, if using, the cooked meat into the mixture. Mix until well combined.
  5. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the cream cheese mixture, gently tossing to coat.
  6. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
  7. Add the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
