  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (5 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Make the crust by mixing Nilla wafers with melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Prepare the cheesecake filling by beating cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fold the sliced bananas into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Make the pudding by whisking together instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until it thickens.
  6. Combine the pudding with the banana cream cheese mixture.
  7. Assemble the cheesecake by pouring the filling over the cooled crust and smoothing the top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  9. Serve with whipped cream and extra banana slices if desired.
