Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well until the cornstarch is fully dissolved. Add the sliced beef to the marinade.
  2. Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 3-5 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir-Fry Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add Vegetables: Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until tender with a slight crunch.
  5. Combine: Return the cooked beef to the skillet, pour any leftover marinade over, and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper, stir, and serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
