Best Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Delicious pumpkin muffins filled with creamy cheese, perfect for autumn treats.

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare muffin tin by lining it with paper liners.
  3. Mix wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  5. Combine dry ingredients in another bowl.
  6. Mix dry into wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Prepare cream cheese filling in a separate bowl until smooth.
  8. Fill muffin liners halfway with pumpkin batter, then add cream cheese filling, and cover with more batter.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cooling in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Enjoy warm or with whipped cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
