Black Forest Icebox Cake

A delightful no-bake dessert combining rich chocolate, cherries, and whipped cream, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate wafer cookies
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cherry pie filling
  • Dark chocolate shavings
  • Fresh cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream mixture by whipping cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  2. Layer a single layer of chocolate wafer cookies at the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
  3. Add a layer of whipped cream mixture over the cookies, followed by a generous layer of cherry pie filling.
  4. Repeat the layering process until ingredients are used up, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. Garnish with dark chocolate shavings and fresh cherries.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes, preferably overnight.

Notes
