- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted water according to package instructions; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 3. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and add to skillet.
- 4. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through; remove and set aside.
- 5. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- 6. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese, whisking until smooth.
- 7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until sauce thickens.
- 8. Return chicken to the skillet and mix well.
- 9. Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water as needed to loosen sauce.
