  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the skillet: Start by heating the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the onions: Add the diced onions to the skillet, cooking until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and ginger: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Cook the chicken: Add the cubed chicken breast to the skillet, cooking until golden brown.
  5. Mix in the spices: Add garam masala, cumin, and paprika, stirring to coat the chicken.
  6. Add tomato sauce: Pour in the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer, cooking for about 15 minutes.
  7. Finish with cream: Stir in the heavy cream and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Season and garnish: Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

For deeper flavor, consider marinating chicken in yogurt and spices before cooking. Adjust spices to taste for heat preference.
