Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake

A deliciously easy dessert combining rich chocolate flavor with sweet cherry tang, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom.
  4. Add the dry chocolate cake mix on top, do not mix.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Add optional chocolate chips and chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
