Easter Dirt Cake Casserole

A fun and delightful no-bake dessert that captures the spirit of Easter with colorful layers and tasty toppings.

  • 14 oz crushed Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz thawed whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup pastel candy-coated chocolates
  • 0.5 cup mini Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a large resealable plastic bag until fine crumbs form. Set aside ½ cup for topping.
  2. Prepare the crust by pressing remaining crushed Oreos into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  3. Make the cream cheese mixture by beating cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the thawed Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture gently.
  5. Prepare the pudding mix by whisking instant vanilla pudding with cold milk until thick, letting it rest for five minutes.
  6. Combine the pudding into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and creamy.
  7. Spread the filling over the Oreo crust evenly.
  8. Add the reserved Oreo crumbs, mini Oreos, and pastel candies on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-5 days for best flavor. Use gluten-free Oreos for a gluten-free version.
