Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie

  • 1 unbaked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and chill it.
  3. Mix the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  4. Add chopped pecans and chocolate chips to the mixture and fold gently.
  5. Pour the filling into the pie crust and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center.
  7. Cool the pie for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
