Easy Homemade Chicken Nuggets

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
  4. Dip chicken into eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry nuggets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes if using the oven, flipping halfway through.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
