Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a blender, combine the frozen fruit, banana, spinach or kale (if using), and your chosen liquid.
  2. Blend Smoothly: Blend all the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Start on a low setting to chop the ingredients, then increase the speed for a thorough blend.
  3. Taste Test: After blending, taste your smoothie. If you would like it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup according to your preference and blend again for a few seconds.
  4. Adjust Consistency: If you want a thicker texture, add ice to the blender. Blend again until the ice is crushed and fully incorporated.
  5. Serve: Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Smoothies can be served in tall glasses, bowls with toppings, or as a large batch for gatherings. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
