Garlic Butter Chicken Pasta

A delicious and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for quick family dinners or gatherings.

  • 1 pound thinly sliced chicken breasts
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 16 ounces spaghetti
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed pepper flakes
  • ⅔ cup freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
  • Fresh minced parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting the breasts horizontally into thin slices and seasoning with salt, black pepper, chicken bouillon, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Sauté the chicken in heated olive oil until fully cooked and golden brown, then set aside.
  4. Make the garlic butter sauce by melting butter in the skillet, then adding minced garlic and crushed pepper flakes to sauté until fragrant.
  5. Combine the cooked spaghetti and chicken in the skillet with the sauce, tossing well and adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency. Stir in Parmesan and adjust seasoning.
  6. Garnish the pasta with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving warm.

Notes

To prevent pasta from sticking, stir occasionally while cooking. You can customize with veggies or creamy additions as desired.
