Instructions

  2. Prepare a round cake pan by greasing it with butter or cooking spray and dusting with flour.
  3. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.
  5. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl and sift together.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined.
  7. Fill the prepared cake pan with the batter and smooth the top.
