  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon key lime zest
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk in a medium-sized mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the key lime juice and key lime zest, whisking until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes to set the filling.
  6. Cool the pie at room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to chill.
  7. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top if desired.
