  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk (full-fat)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, nut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  2. Shape the crust: Transfer the mixture to a tart pan and press it evenly across the bottom and sides to form a well.
  3. Make the filling: In a small bowl, warm the coconut milk in the microwave for about 45 seconds, then add chocolate chips and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. Combine and chill: Pour the filling into the tart crust and spread evenly, then cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes.
  5. Add toppings and serve: Once set, add your favorite toppings and slice to serve.

Notes

This tart can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for 4-5 days or frozen for up to 2-3 months.
