Ohio Shredded Chicken Sandwiches

Delicious and creamy shredded chicken sandwiches that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the chicken breasts, chicken broth, and ranch dressing mix in a slow cooker or Instant Pot.
  2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (slow cooker) or high pressure for 15 minutes (Instant Pot).
  3. Shred the cooked chicken using two forks.
  4. Mix in the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, and cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve the chicken mixture on hamburger buns, adding toppings as desired.

Notes

For a spicy twist, consider making buffalo chicken sandwiches using buffalo wing sauce instead of ranch dressing mix.
