Roasted Cherry Brownies

Delightful brownies infused with the sweet and tangy flavor of roasted cherries, combining rich chocolate goodness with fruity notes.

  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Mix in the granulated sugar until fully incorporated, then add eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the all-purpose flour and salt, gently folding them into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the halved cherries carefully to avoid breaking them.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for moist crumbs with a toothpick.
  8. Cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
