  • 4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan by greasing and flouring it.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
